How many times in life has a life-changing event...
come down to a YES from one person? A friend and I are are working on a deal that will substantially change my life. He's already rich, so it won't change his life too much. It won't make me rich, but it will make life a little easier. We're waiting on one man to make a decision. I hope he says yes. In addition to me, it will change quite a few people's lives. These are talented people who work hard everyday and get the short stick. Keep your fingers crossed for us. THANKS!!

1. It has been my experience...
... that all of the major changes in life hinge on some seemingly insignificant event.

Best of luck with the YES, but sometimes even a NO has great implications :)

2. Twice for me.
Miz t. said "yes".
Changed my life.
About 3 years later she said "I think I'm ready to have a baby. Are you?"
"Yes."
The previously mentioned life change was a mere piffle in comparison.
;-)

3. WOW! We're going through the same thing on the same day!
My lifelong dream has been to get into children's books (even though the money is far less than I've made in film), and today a VP of Scholastic (publisher of Harry Potter) personally gave a rough draft of my book to the president of that company. He thinks I'll be hearing from her soon-I hope so!

Good luck, Tom-Foolery-my fingers are crossed for both of us! :hi:
