A "bad boy" is a guy with an earring and a motorcycle. Scott Peterson is in a completely different category.

Even assuming he did not, in fact, kill his wife and son the best that can be said of him is that he's a lying, manipulative creep. He's running around with another woman while his wife is pregnant, lying to that woman about being single. And a week after his wife goes missing, he's lying to the girlfriend about being in Belgium and promising they'll be together forever.

I admit that I've avoided as much as possible following this but living in CA that's pretty much impossible. What I've seen of him in the papers and on tv is just plain creepy.

Bad boys are a lot of fun to read about and watch in movies. I even have a friend or two happily married to apparent "bad boys." Peterson doesn't even begin to fit with them.

This reply is probably a lot longer than this topic required. I've no idea why this set me off - but here you have it.

looks aren't everything. In fact, absolutely meaningless in cases like that. He'll probably end up marrying some nutjob lady when he's in prison though like one (or maybe both?) of the Menendez brothers.

12. If you knew absolutely NOTHING about him and just focus on his looks...

then, yes, he's hot. On the surface, yes, he's a good looking guy.

But we do know that he's a vile creep, so the hotness factor is taken away.
