60s music experts. Help wanted: tune ID.
OK, I know these things are next to impossible over text, especialaly when you don't know the lyrics. But any attempts are appreciated.

Here are the clues:

The song is a slow, "dreamy" or "haunting" song. Similar to Moody Blues style... I don't know the band name, but it would not surpire me if they were a British band.

I don't remember all the lyrics, but they chorus is something along the lines of this:

"Girl,
tell me what to do
Something something something(?)
Becuase I'm so in love with you,

Can't you see (?)It's true...
I'm in love with you"

I know that is not a lot to go on. But that is the best I can remember. Also, for some reason my mind is tellin gme that the words "scooby doo" or something like that are in the lyrics, as ridiculous as that might sound.

Anyways, any help appreciated...

3. I know, I know!...The Turtles!

The Turtles, "You Showed Me"
(written by McGuinn and Clark of the Byrds, I seem to remember???)

You showed me how to do
Exactly what you do
How I fell in love with you
Ohhhhh, it's true
Ohhhhh, I love you

You showed me how to say
Exactly what you say
In that very special way
Ohhhhh, it's true
You fell for me too

And when I tried it
I could see you fall
And I decided
It's not a trip at all

You taught it to me to
Exactly what you do
And now you love me too
Ohhhh, it's true
We're in love, we two

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
We're in love, we two
We two

You showed me how to do
Exactly what you do
How I fell in love with you
You showed me how to say
Exactly what you say
In that very special way
You taught it to me to
Exactly what you do
And now you love me too (repeat to fade)

17. That's a good song...
if you really like the mid-60's garage/psych era you'll LOVE Technicolor Web of sound -- http://www.techwebsound.com

The best Internet radio station around in my opinion. If you have iTunes it's one of the default stations.

I am a HUGE 60's/psych fan, but your lyrics stumped me. After seeing some others figured it out, yeah, I can see what you were getting at...

What a great era... unsurpassed.

18. The first thing that popped into my head was that stupid
Milli vanilli song (and I can't get it out)

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I'm in love girl,
I'm in so love girl.
I'm just in love girl, and this is true.
Girl, you know it's true.
Ooh, Ooh, Ooh I love you.
