I know that "whoever wins, we lose" but personally I'm rooting for the Aliens. The Predators are too damned cocky. And they cheat. They can turn all invisible and shit. Cheaters!!!

It appears that AVP is set in present-day Antarctica. If the Aliens woulda won, the planet would be crawling with 'em. Also, the crew of the ship in "Alien" would have known about the face-hugging creepos and would have avoided them like the plague and we never would have been privy to the whole Ripley saga.

But since Alien I through ad nausaeum has occurred, ergo, Predator victory!

26. Ah, but you are forgetting one thing

The company knew about them. Remember, the Nostromo was secretly sent on orders to retrieve one of the aliens. They didn't tell the crew about it because they most likely knew that it was a hostile lifeform and no one in their right mind would approach it. So this leaves one possibility, the aliens defeat the predators, and are in turn defeated by humans. The incident is covered up and known only to those in the military industrial complex, who, hundreds of years later, receive the transmission that results in the Nostromo's mission.

Hence: Alien Victory!

Actually, who the hell really knows, it's just a movie that's probably going to suck. But I'm going to see it anyway!
