Whats the most shocking murder mystery you have ever seen?
For me it was "Witness for the Prosecution" w/ Charles Laughton & "Dead Again" with Keneth Branaugh. Two of the most shocking endings I have ever seen. Good mysterys as well. I may have to ad "The Usual Suspects' to that list. Before someone beats me to it, I HATED "the 6th Sense"!!!

2. Witness is the best adaptation of a Christie Book except for
"And Then there were None" also a great ending, but everyone knew how it would end. I loved Dame Judith Anderson's line in that one though, when the cook had been murdered, "Very careless to kill the one person who knew where the food is stored."

6. Is Witness the one
....where a guy rents a furnished place with a telescope? if that's the one then it's the most shocking. Mostly because you don't see what happened but can imagine it. It was god-awful horrible stuff!

3. "Don't Look Now" a Nicolas Roeg film.
It's been 25 years since I've seen it, but I remember being really spooked by it. Don't know what I'd think if I saw it now.
