12. Fry up some ham.
Pour in a little coffee behind the leavins.
Stir it around.
Serve over grits.
Or homade biscuits.

16. Was that available in Hannover?

Interesting, I haven't found it in Berlin yet. Well, I always picked up a pound when I drove back home from Holland (no, I went there for family reasons). However I don't do those trips any more :-( .

Well, eating in Germany (not necessarily German) is a mixed blessing. Some meals are exceptional (wouldn't know what to do without Döner and decent bread), others are a real disappointment (Seafood!).

At least French cheese and Wine have reached a sane level (in supply and in price).

I miss American Food (Tex Mex, Scallops, Boston Steamers, Tequila based things,...) ...

How is it going?

18. Es geht mir sehr gut eigentlich .
Aber ich vermisse Deustchland . The other day I found myself saying " I wanna go home ' , and in my heart I was talking about Germany . It felt very melancholy as my plane left the ground in Frankfurt . I learned a lot in Germany . It was the last country that I thought I would ever travel to . But a part of me became European in the way that I have a better global view of international events . I lived in Germany for 3 years so a lot of it still with me . I hope to come back to Germany in the future . Ahhh but you know what , I really really miss Döner-Kebaps , Schweinefuss , schwarzbrot , Milka , Rittersport and all the good stuff . It took my a LONG MONTH to get back used to American culture again lol .
