"Mom, my ice cream tastes like hand lotion"
I laughed when my 6 year old told me that, after he'd insisted on getting a "Looney Tunes Cup" from the ice cream truck today.
I mean, how bad could the stuff be?

I decided to finish it off for him, so it wouldn't go to waste; and while I've never tasted hand lotion, I'd have to say that I imagine it would taste exactly like that ice cream. BLECH! Do they add lanolin to it or something?

7. Like Baskin-Robbins the poduct from the truck was most
likely edible oil manufactured to look like ice cream. A friend first discovered this whem he left Baskin-Robbins is a sink overnight and it didn't melt.

8. Really?
Isn't it illegal to advertise that something's ice cream when it isn't? That was the reason for many fast food joints offering "shakes" instead of "milkshakes"...no milk involved.

9. Good point but did the sign actually say ice cream or did it
just say cones?

10. Used to be Baskin Robbins ice cream...
And their website http://www.baskinrobbins.com/index.shtml advertises ice cream. I wonder if they're legit...

11. I think the issue then is not whether it is made with milk but is the
presence and amount of trans fat.
