This week, I started a new job that pays $12 an hour. On the job from which I got laid off last month, my hourly rate was $10.50. Plus, my new boss pays for 100% of his employees' medical benefits.

Looks like losing my last job was a blessing in disguise! :headbang::beer:

I don't get $#!+ in the way of benefits as a freelancer. I wish our local would do something about that.
