2. Oh hell yeah...
I've transported many illegal fireworks over state lines from that place!

6. The BEST Fireworks...
Have you visited those CHEESY, "fake-casinos" they have close by to Pedros? Simply AWFUL... HORRID!

It's not a casino at all... it's all video game versions of real casino games (and the play is slow... tedious... boring).

But I'll happily stop at Pedro's for a fill-up, drain my radiator, and some good fireworks... as you said... illegally transported across state lines.

7. lol
I'm from NJ, and it is the HOME of cheesy fake casinos. Spend a day on one of our boardwalks and you will know what I am talking about. I've dropped $50 bucks or more at times playing skee-ball just to win a crappy little necklace or some other hunk of junk!

4. Every time I drive back home I stop by Pedro's place!
I love the signs, since they're a little reminder that I'm getting closer to home.

Pedro sez:"Si,senor, i am a crude ethnic stereotype!"

5. Ooh I detest that place .
Parents took some pictures there on the way to Myrtle Beach about 6 years ago and I quickly shift through the pictures or either run the other way when they come at me with the pictures .

10. Calling SOtB "tacky" is an understatement
Not only that, it's an insult to tacks.

I was first dragged there in the middle 1970s when my parents started taking annual trips to Disneyworld. Just imagine SOtB AND ten thousand people dressed in 1970s style clothing, in the South.

South of the Border is an overachiever in the world of Tacky. These days, we might be inclined to think of it as ironic, but back then, we had to live tacky 24 hours a day. And polyester was far from the worst of it.

In subsequent years, I insisted I be left home by myself to drink alcohol without their knowlege, experiment with drugs, steal cars and drag race, and have sex with all the slutty girls from the senior high school.

To my everlasting amazement, they went for it, and home I stayed, happily doing homework and reading the Bible and contemplating obedience to the Law.

13. I wanna go!
I love tacky places!

Speaking of which... Anyone ever been to Wright City MO? Home of the "Elvis Is Alive Museum & Café". Billy Ray Beeney, proprieter. God that place was a hoot! That was ten years ago. I hope it's still there.
