So, does anybody use Vonage?

We're currently paying $49.99 a month for unlimited calling, all over the US, on our landline through Cox.

But Vonage is offering the same service for just $29.99/month using VOIP. So now I'm thinking about saving 20 bucks a month.

The only drawbacks I can see are:

Power outage, no phone.
Internet problems, no phone.

Other than that....

Did you know that, even if your cell phone service is disconnected, it will also work for 911?

I use it and it is pretty good! Only thing..make sure they know where you are! I ordered the system and the number they gave me is long distance for my city! i.e....I cannot call a local business without dialing 1+ the area code, even if the business is down the street! The prefix number is what makes it long distance. Still, I love the service!
