1. Tie between Revolver and The Beatles.
I voted Revolver, though.

2. Rubber Soul
I would probably choose Revolver, but Rubber Soul does not have "Yellow Submarine" on it, thereby winning by default.

3. Tie - "Meet The Beatles!" and "A Hard Day's Night"
These two albums show the depth of the Fab Four's musical talent and the variety of song styles that they could make their own.

4. "Beatles for Sale"
came before "Help!", so it's hardly a "later" album (especially since you excluded "Help!"). I'm not trying to bust on you, just making a point -- I think "later albums" are the albums they released after they stopped touring -- so, from Revolver on.

That said, it's incredibly hard to pick my favorite...

9. other
Although I don't think it's "older" than some on your list.

The White Album.

I need to buy another copy. My sons and I still fight over our CD set, stealing and hoarding it.
