2. we had a Pilliated Woodpecker in our yard this year
I thought it was a friggin pterodactyl. Stood an easy 18 inches.

jk, I video taped a male and female of same two weeks ago, they were doing their little mating dance !!! Yesterday a small hawk (cooper's?) flew right by my window !!!

6. funny you should mention that . . .
on last night's Graham Norton show, he asked a pre-selected audience member to name as many other names for "pecker" as she could in 30 seconds . . . she got 12 . . . "What do you think your mother will say when she sees this?" he asks . . . "Let's find out!" . . . and he plays a tape of the woman's mother doing the same exercise . . . mom got 10 . . . "Well, what do you think your mother's mother would say to that?" . . . "Let's find out!" . . . and he plays a tape of grandma doing the same thing . . . she got 13! . . . hysterical stuff . . . :)
