I'm seeing Charlie now clouds and wind starting now
over my house Northwestward moving winds and clouds. Moving at a pretty good clip Starting to look a little ominous Looks like it will get worse A couple of bars here are packed with hurricane party goer's. Bracing in Naples now within the next hour or so should feel the worst in this area

my house anyway... I'm in NY right now, thank god. Glad I sold my house in Ft. Myers last year, it's right across the Causeway from Sanibel and under the flood plain. I'm SURE there will be flood damage... I had problems there without ever having a hurricane hit.

depends where the hurricane actually makes landfall. anything to the east and south of it will get the worst of the brunt, besdies being hit directly.

21. I grew up in Lely Estates (East Naples)
We got hit by a tornado in 1978 that took down all the houses that was on our street. It was spawned from what was called a no name storm.

Hunker down and again please be careful. I love hurricanes and have studied them a lot. Even a cat 3 is nothing to sneeze at.
