9. Hi fellow DU'ers, it's been nasty here in Orlando, but in 35 years...

...I can't remember an actual hurricane that crossed over the state and hit our city. This could be a first for me. They upgraded Charlie to a category 4 hurricane about 45 minutes ago. That's winds of 145 to 154 mph. That's pretty big!

Everything has been closed for severals hours, stores businesses etc. All of the attractions are closed. We have tornado warnings in Orange county, but they've been touching all around the county. Lots of thunder and having a steady rain now. It is bright outside but the color is sort of an amber color, like when you put on the special amber glasses and how everything seems to get brighter, that's the way things appear at the moment. We are being warned to stay indoors and keep under cover on the ground floors of buildings. Also, need to stay in an interior room with no windows. I'm signing off now. Anyone else in the path, please stay safe.

P.S. I believe Porter Goss is up in DC having a nice lunch with Micheal Moore. He claims he'd rather face Michael than a category 4 hurricane any time.
