ever have any luck writing to somone for an autograph?
i have a friend with a birthday coming up in a few months and she's obesessed with jack palance. i thought i'd try it by sending an 8x10 , as i doubt he's someone who gets a ton of mail.

any tips on finding an address?

got elvis' autograph via letter when he was a kid...though good luck with that now ;)

2. Don't know about Jack Palance.
I've got the autographs of every President since Carter. You just write a polite note to the WH asking for one, and they'll send you one. Works best if you do it during the first month they're in office.

Send it through his publicist or management. You could also send it c/o Hollywood Trident Foundation, which I believe is a past president of.

4. First step
is to locate them. With actors, you can look for publicists, agents, etc. Studios are often good contacts as well. A simple way to start is Google - there are many sources for autographs, you just have to sort thru the ones that want to sell you an autograph to get to resources and hints on getting them.

My daughter is a fan of Wil Wheaton and wrote to him. He replied with a photo that had a personalized message. So, yes, you can be successful. Especially if you have a hook like "a birthday present" or something similar.

you can sign up for a free trial and you can find actor's agents and publicists contact information...give it a shot

i used it just recently to send a letter to sean penn thanking him for his letters to bush in the post and the times
