it'll blow over by 1:00 am. The folks downstate took the brunt of the storm,pray for them, the winds are down already. It'll be a minimal hurricane when it breezes by. Just hang on for a few more hours without despair.

When the eye passes by, step outside and check it out. I've heard its surreal. Then boogie back inside and brace for the back wall.

18. We're expecting 2-4" of rain. Nothing to this sub-tropical Lefty.

SD had the day off today, most of SW FL office types did it seems. he told me that he had a full frig of beer so I'm guessing he's ok.

Plus he's well north of where the eye hit.

What scares me though is that I know a LOT of people in Charlotte County, and my parents have a home there, so the blackout on real info there is killing me.

16. Looks like the worst of it has gone by me here in Lakeland.

The eye is up near Kissimee now. Had some pretty good gusts and rain. Blew some branches down in the yard. The lights stayed on so we made out OK.
