This year President Bush, circumventing Senate hearings, elevated Pryor to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in a recess appointment."

This is an excellent article on voting machines by one of a select few pioneer journalists in this field -- he wrote an article in 1988 that foresaw many of our current problems.
