I just got back from the Kerry rally in Portland, OR !

And DAMN am I sunburned!
It was a fantastic event; my dad and I went with the labor union groups so we were super close to JK and all the action!
It was awesome- they were thinking ~20,000 people would show up, but it was closer to 60,000!! :bounce: They started putting people up in parking garages and all along the sidewalks by the waterfront.
Simply fantastic.
Bush is toast!

I got my Gore-Lieberman sign in Portland I believe actually, no Ive never been but my great aunt/godmother went there for treatment for her cancer 4 years ago with her sister, my grandma and they got me a sign, sadly my aunt passed on in 2001, I am proud to still own that sign and the book she gave me to borrow but never got back because she died. We're doing this you Annie, love ya. Glad you had a good time btw, sorry I ranted about my aunt, its just her memory is all around me in my room, I see the sign always on my wall, the book is on my book shelf which also is one of JK's favorite books. Kerry is gonna be a great president, isn't he?
