a fellow DUer cannot get into DU. She can raise the home page by going through Google but then DU comes up "Page cannot be found". She has been trying various ways for the past hour or so.

At least one other website was giving/is giving me the same problem.

Not a big deal usually, IIRC this usually relates to DNS lookups from ones IP.

On reflection I think that when a site is unavailable it is more often due to the server that is hosting them having a hiccup.

11. Sometimes there is so much traffic...

things get a little wierd.

If you have problems, and they don't resolve themselves in a decent amount of time...check back a bit later; once I had to wait almost 45 min's just to get the server to come up.

You can also alert to Bugs/Features, or go to Ask The Administration...:D

14. It's very slow here

and I have DSL/broadband, whatever you call it. And a really fast computer. So all I can figure is traffic is high.
