If you were German or Japanese during WW2.

I'm a WW2 military hardware nut, and this is the nose of a B-25 two-engine medium bomber, photographed at the EAA convention this year.

Quite a few B-25's were built with this setup, and if you're wondering what that hole is below the .50's, that's a 75mm cannon. :wow:

1. A 75mm cannon?
That would leave a mark. Quad .50's would make a mess of things, too.

2. Yeah, Japanese shipping was the preferred targets.
Lots of holes put into them, then they go blub. :-)

3. My guard squadron flew those.
A little (not very much) before my time.
We had F-84s by the time I joined.
Many of my guard buddies were involved in the Bay of Pigs.

4. Does the B-25
have a split tail? Or is that the B-24? And which was called the Mitchell? If you don't mind all these questions.

7. Both.
They both had the twin tail, but the B-25 Mitchell had 2 engines, the B-24 Liberator had 4 engines.

6. I want one of those for my pickup truck
Swivel mount, laser sighting, redneck and moran autodefense system.

It's not really violence, it's just thinning the herd. I'm the only one who should be on the road, anyway. After all, I DO own it... :nuke:
