Anyone have a good bread machine recipe for beer bread??

We bought a sixpack we don't like, but think it would make a decent bread. Except my beer bread recipe is for 6 loaves, and usually only gets made when we're going to an SCA event. (it does not cut down for the bread machine.)

1. Beer Bread from Food Network

Here's a recipe that recieved high ratings on Food Network. A couple of comments said that they cut the sugar in half and it worked just fine. Another said it tasted grate even with crappy Coors Light. Alas, it doesn't seem to be for the machine.

3 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup sugar
12 ounces beer
2 tablespoons melted butter

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Butter a loaf pan and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and beer and mix well. The mixture should be sticky. Pour into the loaf pan and bake for 55 minutes. At the last 3 minutes of baking, remove from oven, brush the top of the loaf with butter and return to oven.
