I want to destroy you I want to destroy you I want to destroy you I want to destroy you
Well I feel it comin' on again just like it did before They feed your pride with boredom then they lead you on to war The way they treat each other it makes me feel ill Cause if you want to fight you're just dying to get killed
I want to destroy you I want to destroy you
The talk upon the media and everything you read They tell you your opinions and they're very good indeed
I want to destroy you
And when I have destroyed you and I'm pickin' at your bones You won't have a single item left to call your own
I want to destroy you I want to destroy you I want to destroy you I want to destroy you I want to destroy you
I happened just to listen to the Uncle Tupelo cover of this tune...the lyrics hit home and set me to thinking about the current state of affairs in the USA today...
I also love Robyn Hitchcock's solo stuff. I saw him a few years ago and he just mingled in the lobby afterward. I went up to him and talked to him for quite a while. Super nice guy. :hi:
Nostalgia: I was browsing at one of our 'hip' downtown CD/vinyl stores today, and came across a couple of Young Fresh Fellows CD's from my college DJ days. I have never seen one of their albums outside of WA before. Good times.
I used to see you at _________, and you were always drinking a _________! One day, I knew you and I would post on a message board and exchange Quincy jokes. :D
"Verily, a great boom will come from the South of a Kingdom... A County, of Auburn color Static colors of young fresh hues And Mayhem from the ether Will fill moving vessels Powered by dinosaur flesh Forsooth!!! A flamingyouth Will heed the ZombyWoof!"
