Nix co-produced "Getting Ready" with Leon Russell. He wrote "Going Down," "Same Old Blues," co-wrote "Living On The Highway" with Russell and "Palace Of The King" with Russell and "Duck" Dunn from Booker T & The MGs...

This has to be the definitive version of the song. Jeff Beck attempted it on "Jeff Beck Group," and while the playing is hot I can't get past the nails-down-a-blackboard "bloody awful" vocal from Bob Tench.
