My local Dem HQ is out of Kerry-Edwards stickers
Edited on Sun Aug-15-04 03:38 PM by ZombyWoof
I suppose that's a natural by-product of having him in your town for a weekend. :-)

So I ordered some from his website. Got a "Veteran For Kerry" for my Dad (My dad was on a gunboat in Vietnam in '68, and knows what assclowns those Swift Boat Liars4Bush are.) Plus, a "It's Up To The Women... Vote For Kerry-Edwards" sticker for my Mom, and some regular ones to disperse acccordingly, including the obligatory one for my guitar case.

Plus, I signed up for the "Let's Turn AZ Blue" Campaign, and will be distributing letters of my own hand.

It's exciting, because AZ is legitimately in play!

1. We ran out during the county fair.
We had 2000, and gave every single one away--- in a Republican county!

:D

7. Hon, I live in Mississippi...
Mine has been on my car for a week. No one has made ugly comments, much less has tried to key my car.

As a matter of fact, after a doctor's appointment last week, I walked out to my car, and three African Americans were standing by my car, waiting for me to come out. They asked me where they could get some Kerry/Edwards stuff. I am going to take them some of my own stuff next week, and try to get some from the Dem headquarters in the town where I work to distribute to them.

Be not afraid...sport your sticker with pride. :-)

10. thats great to know
I see so many Kerry-Edwards stickers here, now NoVA aint a republican stronghold but I didnt see nearly as much Gore-Lieberman stickers in 2000 as I do Kerry-Edwards stickers now. Would be nice if Edwards came down to MS, and with that charm of his could turn MS a dim red, it would take a miracle no offense for MS to become dem this time around but maybe Edwards could make it closer, I swear hes a magical presence, hes going to Alabama soon I heard.

11. Gore came to MS in 2000...I went... I know 1000 people showed up...
to hear him.

Maybe Edwards will visit us before the election. I know he has some HUGE supporters in Mississippi. We might now go blue, but, like you said, I don't think the red will be as deep and dark a hue as it was four years ago. :-)

6. great news
Seems like he's doing something right in Arizona too, he could well win here, if not win at least do better than Gore did.

8. Iowa State Fair
The Democratic delegation in the Varied Industries building was all out of both buttons and stickers by 11am yesterday. All that was left were face tatoos with donkeys stating Victory 2004.
