I learned to wakeboard this morning, and my back is killing me.

Anyhoo, mooched a ride with a friend who has a boat this morning, and learned how to wakeboard. Sort of.

When, exactly, did waterskiing, even slalom, become "wakeboarding"?
Maybe when "typing" became "keyboarding"?

2. It's actually a whole nuther thingy...

...the wakeboard sits on the end of your legs like a snowboard, wider than a slalom ski. Kinda fun, plus you don't care if it's choppy or the wake is big, cuz that's where the fun is. At. ;)

The boat's owner even had this hydrofoil thingy on one board, lifted him out of the water about three feet. Astounding. I haven't been trolled with in probably ten years, there's a lot of new stuff.

I sliced myself up trimming the bushes. No, that's not a euphemism for anything -- I'm small enough to fit between the bushes and the house, so I get to trim them with the crappy electric trimmer. I scraped my thighs up royally. I should have worn long pants. :eyes:
