What's the weirdest thing you've noticed watching the Olympics?
So far, what have you learned that you didn't already know?

For me, it's coming to realize that "Beach Volleyball" is actually played in a stadium...and, not at the beach! (I didn't notice this immediately...until after a while when the camera panned to the stands!)

*Gasp*! I thought they were playing at the beach! Where have I been? And, why don't they call it "Stadium Volleyball" instead?

What about you? What did you discover "new-to-you" watching the Olympics?

:-)

1. I was wondering why the women playing beach volleyball......
wear tiny bikini bottoms, they look very uncomfortable and they men were bike type shorts and loose shirts? Ugh!

11. Meanwhile, back in Japan,
"Shibata" is a fairly common surname which, if translated literally, would refer to the kind of land at the Crawford pig farm.

9. I'm Blown Away By the Scenery
I'm a sucker for ancient ruins, and to consider that these athletes are competing in such a historic venue...I would have really liked going to these Olympics.
