Second Hockey Game: Not much better.

This time we only lost 7 - 0. I got my first penalty, and to the other team I said "you guys are better actors than hockey players," because they draw penalties.

I got a minor for interference. I didn't know that if a guy walked into me while I was playing defense it was interference. Meanwhile, it's not a penalty for my friend to be checked to the ground and have his face shoved into the surface.

We got the dirty bastards back at the end of the game, apparently feeling guilty for the bullshit interference call that I got, the ref "turned the shoulder" to my another one of my friend's headbutting the crap outta some guy, knocking his helmet off and sending him on his ass. Also, they didn't seem to mind the vicious smearing that was bestowed upon another one of their clowns who was slashing me all game.

Who knew? Maybe next week we'll actually score a goal.

at a dek hockey league in Mt. Pleasant, PA. It's out in the middle of nowhere, but it's fun, and I get good exercise. Lots of running, lots of water, usually the other team is comprised of nice people, today was the exception. Their one guy got tossed from the game 2 minutes in for trying to start a fight. It's frightning cause lots of the people on my team are no older than 17, and these guys were well into their 20s, if not early 30s.
