Poll question: should I......
This coming weekend I have two options before me. My department has an optional field trip planned to visit, among other places in northern Utah, Dinosaur National Monument and the Cleveland-Lloyd Quarry. Unfortunately I am scheduled to work on the first night, but it's a job I am pl nning on leaving soon anyway because it's 8 miles out of my way and pays well below minimum wage in most states. Additionally, I have been invited to shmooze with Brian Schweutzer (dem candidate for Montana governor) on Saturday night (and donate $25 each to his campaign). I would really like to do both.....

1. Quit the job, go on the trip and sign up to work with Schweutzer's

campaign. You will have many opportunities to schmooze with him then and you won't have missed any of your opportunities.
