I have this theory about /Donnie Darko/ and abortion.

My theory is that Donnie's big sister had an abortion when she was in seventh grade. Because when he tells his little sister that she'll have to wait until eighth grade before she can "squeeze one out" the rest of the family stops everything and gets all pissed at him, more than they would if he'd just made some stupid joke. Like the big sister calls him a dick.
