BEST album by an otherwise bad group/artist.
I'm copycatting my own thread. I'd have to go with "Revenge" by the non-makeup Kiss. That album just rocks.

1. "Ten" by Pearl Jam
I hate PJ, but even I'll admit that's a good album...

2. I never thought I'd see the day when I would like a Motely Crue song
But they got it right with their Dr. Feelgood album. The title track, Kickstart My Heart--I actually called the radio station and asked if it was really them!

5. I don't like the album...
...but "Kickstart My Heart" is a great rock & roll song. Period.

6. Aw, what about 'Piper'?
Unless you consider there to have been two Pink Floyds, as I do.

7. Agreed.
Two Floyds. Piper doesn't count.

4. "Life is Peachy" by Korn
I can never admit to liking Korn, but that disc is raw as hell.

9. "Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Giftshop" by Stone Temple Pilots
When they started out, STP was basically a cheesy major-label cash-in on the whole "grunge" trend and they were nothing more than a lame rip-off of Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

Then they put out the album "Tiny Music..." in 1996. By that time, grunge was no longer the hot new "flavor of the month," and I presume that STP was no longer under pressure to be a "grunge" band. As a result, Weiland's voice is higher-pitched on this album and he sounds more like early Bowie than Eddie Vedder, and the band has a much more tight and catchy power-pop sound.
