Okay, I know I posted ad nauseum about this...well, it was quite a show, and as much fun as I've had in a long age...I posted a review on my site (I'd post it here, but it's pretty long). If yer interested (or if you went yourself & have some stories), check it out at:

7. I was in a "Barn Band" with Keith Streng in high school (in Maine)
I played fuzz bass and Keith was the drummer (preFleshtones).

My cousin (also from Maine) was the original bass player for the FT's .

I've known Peter for a long time - and he has a cousin that lives in the Waterville area.

It's too bad IRS records screwed Fleshtones on their early releases - it would be great to have them out on CD...

8. From Maine???
Cool! I had no idea! (I live in Maine...in Waterville actually!!!). Cool to know that Streng & other Fleshtones were from our cool state!!!

Yeah, the IRS stuff really needs to come out officially...I've got a bunch of the records burned to CD now (due to my lack of life where I have time to do that), but it would be nice to have them remastered...

9. Keith is from Flushing NY
but he used to come up to Maine in the summer.

Last time I saw them was in 1986 (Athens GA).

Had a Blue Whale party at Peter Buck's house.

Ouch Ouch Ouch....

5. Yes, I find this scenario highly unlikely.
Zaremba pissed off is about as much an oddity as Mark E. Smith drunk. And pissed off.

2. That sounds so great
I wish I could have been there.

My friend Dave Provost used to play with the Arrows. Davie's an, um, interesting guy. He kind of looked like Chuck Norris when I last saw him, and with about as warm of a personality. ;)

Anyway, glad you had such a good time. Sounds amazing! :D

3. He STILL looks like Chuck Norris!!!
He was right next to me in the audience during some of the midday sets...seemed to be okay, but not too talkative :)

And thanks...it was a lot of fun...Hey, I saw Chuck Barris (and he didn't have a gun!).

6. Well, an unarmed Chuck Barris is always a good thing!
Wow, that sounds like a blast. Man, I was there in spirit. My friend Blair from The Teen Scene went - he left me a message and I've got to call him about it.:hi:

10. wow what a line-up!
A lot of bands from the old days, garage, contemporary, etc. Sounds like a great time. Wish I lived near NYC, that would have been worth seeing.

Thanks for the review. Glad you had a good time.
