So, do you send and receive very many PMs?

What do you usually send them about?

Will you take the initiative or only respond when somebody sends one to you?

I don't get a LOT of PM's, but they're nice to get. They've all been friendly and caring. And I just let my messages sit there. I like re-reading them sometimes.

Mostly, I respond to someone's mail. But I'm getting more emboldened in taking the initiative. I'm sort of shy in real life, but in fact just last week I emailed a DU'er for the first time. :-)

Yes, I have sent some "personalized" mail and have generally received lovely supportive replies. I think I've only actually received one incoming out of the blue, but I certainly enjoy the feature that allows more intimate discussion w/DUers we've met and those that offer support that touches our hearts. Thanks be for PMs sometimes.
