Madden 2005

any DU'ers here playstation 2 and madden fans? what are your thoughts on the new madden if you've got it?

3. the defnse is something else

oops, I use an Xbox hehehe but anyway, I've noticed that the defense AI is really strong this year, you can't run on Dallas and theshort tim you have to get off a pass is like 1-2-sack on some plays. It's not easy to run, but you can improve by going into the mini rushiing game over and over again.

Using Oakland, Warren Sapp is a monster! I've had him just steam 3 people and get the sack, plus alot of pressure on the quarterback. BUT why is Tim Brown and Ron Wodson STILL on the roster?! At least EA ports will update the info soon (they'd better!)

I haven't played it on Live yet, probably tomorrow night. But I like Madden 2005 much much more than previous years.

4. Defense

the defense is crazy this year!!! i actually think it makes the game better though, except it is really difficult to rush for anywhere near 100 yards. who plays online?

8. 100 yard with bettis, but who were you playing?

computer or a real person online? i can rush for insane amounts of yards against the computer (except on All-Madden), but against another person it seems much more difficult.

5. ESPN NFL 2K5

is far better than any version of Madden I've played.

Plus it costs half as much!

7. Im not worried about the price....

ive played madden for the last 10 years and i think its a first-class game...ive heard espn is pretty good, but i havent played it yet. id be surprised if it were better than madden 05 though.
