4. Nope.
But I can understand your situation, especially after your weekend 'event.'

I hope it will all work out and things fall nicely into place for you.

6. I think I have serious sleep problems.
I stay up till 7am and sleep till noon or 1pm if I am lucky.

In fact I wouldn't even go to sleep if I didn't HAVE to.

I guess I am a freak.

8. Um, absolutely not
About every other night I can't get to sleep until at least 4 am. I've been on everything: Ambien, Trazodone, Seroquel, even combinations thereof. I get night terrors. Just last night I even had a bizarre nightmare about DU, of all things. I hope things will pass for you.

I know you've been under horrible strain in your personal life lately, as have I. I chalk it up to that and hope for a better day for both of us. :hi:

10. Sleep Problems
I think most sleep problems are stress related. Some nights i just
dont sleep for shit.
Although.........if i take a Vitamin B complex it helps me to relax
and fall asleep anyway. Try it.....might help you to.

I dreamt someone was using my account to post Bush photos. When i found out, i was told by my 4th grade teacher that i had to take swimming lessons.....? Strange!

I hope you find peace soon!

It had to do with moderating, so I can't go into the details here; suffice to say it was completely fucked up, though!

9. I find the more active I am, the better my sleep habits
If I have any period of time wherein I have no obligations, it immediately goes to hell.

12. My sleep is all messed up and has been for years.
I have chronic pain and you'd think with all of the different medication I take I'd sleep all of the time. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.

Last night I was up until 4:30 this morning and woke up at 8:00 am. The night before I didn't get into bed until 6:30 am and woke up around 10:00.

Usually what wakes me up is both of my hands being completely dead. I have to shake them to get feeling back. Of course, I get to go through the whole tingly, burny, feeling coming back routine. Blech!

18. You insomniacs need
to try some Ambien. Ask your Doctor for a prescription. It is non-habit forming, and you will not feel drugged out. You will sleep very deeply and wake up refreshed. It helps to re-establish sleep patterns and after awhile, you won't even have to use it, because you've "trained" yourself back into a normal sleeping pattern. Especially if you suffer from PTS or any other STRESS (you know, the thing that can kill you) you really need sleep and you need it now. I promise you, this works and it's not bad. Please check it out and get some good ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ's.

19. Sorry,
I am almost completely non-drug. I do not even take cold medicine or aspirin. No alcohol, no weed, no caffine. Have been this way all of my life.

My only exception is nicotine (3 packs of Marlboro Light 100s a week) :( !

26. That stuff didn't work for me. Can't even remember what it did or
didn't do, it's been so long since I tried it. I know it didn't help me sleep. But it may have caused side effects as well. My brain is a pathetic light weight. I usually take about a fourth of what one would consider a 'normal' dose for anyone else. Drives my doctor nuts. And he doesn't even have to put up with the meds!

25. Ever notice how many late night posts there are?
Insomniac checking in. I'll either do a four hour sleep or a 12 hour one as well. And I've tried everything in the book. Nothing but Ativan helps. But it doesn't keep away the DU dreams for me - and I'm still fairly new here. Had Swift Boat Vet dreams for a few nights. I was so worried about them in my dreams. LOL. This place is addicting in more ways than one.

By the way, if any of you can get by on little sleep for days on end and have HUGE amounts of energy during those times and you feel very HAPPY - and THEN you crash and have no energy and need a whole lot of sleep and you feel DEPRESSED - and these cycles repeat a lot - look into 'bipolar disorder'. Sadly, it's probably the one thing I can discuss on this board without needing to use Google to get information.

27. I have sleeping problems
it seems to run in my family. mom AND dad's sides have bequeathed upon me an übernervous temperament, to the point where we all of us simply won't allow ourselves a little piece of mind...it does a number on the digestive system, believe me.
