Ok I admit I dont root for every local team.

Baseball- Baltimore Orioles, great park, love it in Baltimore
NFL- Pittsburgh Steelers
NCAA football- Virginia Tech Hokies
NBA- I like either the Pistons I guess, a good defensive team and when I played b-ball that was what my strength was
NCAA basketball- Gotta love the Terps.
So what are the teams you go for? yeah some of mine are out of region.

I am first and foremost a YANKEE FANATIC. It can be difficult, given the fact I go to college in Boston..but hey, I always get the last laugh
I root for, besides the Yankees:
NFL- Detroit Lion (because of Joey Harrington)
NCAA football- Boston College Eagles (my school); Oregon Ducks
NHL: NJ Devils
Not a fan of basketball.

6. heh baseball is indeed amazing
I used to play when I was younger but the league as do most leagues became elitist as hell and anti defense/pitching, so I a former all star pitcher/1st baseman went from pitching in a championship playoff to being with kids nearly 2 years younger than me :(, I was already one of the oldest guys that year as is, sigh. I never did learn how to hit. You know whats funny though, I am a lefty but I hit right handed, when I was 10 I believe, my mom and I had hired help from this guy who said he could reinvent me as a lefty hitter, never panned out, though it was a neat experience.

Secondbase. I was a very good hitter; always made contact. I only struck out 3 times the entire season!

5. here are mine
NCAA sports.. University of Arkansas and Brigham Young University
NFL Denver Broncos
Baseball Texas Rangers
NBA.. hate it and don't watch

I love college sports best and tend to have a team I support out of each conference. For instance, the Big 12, Oklahoma since I hate Texas.. Big 10 Wisconsin.. Pac 10 Stanford... ACC Florida State. Its just something that makes watching football on Saturdays more interesting to me, to have teams to pull for.

7. I bet you were happy when they beat Brett Favra heh
in that one super bowl. Though it was my steelers that I believe they beat to get there, I wasnt upset at all, I love AFC football as opposed to the NFC.

23. Ive made the cards my NL team this year
No I know youre not on the bandwagon, they are a great team with a lot of traditional, I like Stan Musial a lot, the gashouse gang is interesting. Psst for the NFL, pick the steelers. Spurs are a nice team, I always thought Duncan and before he retired Robinson were two of the more classier guys in the NBA.
