Mine is: be true to yourself. Don't be something you're not.

2. be a jackass and serious on the same page
In other words act silly as hell but think serious things, even when I act like the biggest goof from my computer at home, a split second can have me staring at a book and a Gore-Lieberman sign which makes think of my godmother, now dead 3 years. You get what I mean, be silly but remember things.

6. Way to go Polonius

-- How about these --

You're either living or you're dying

The best players that ever existed in life knew exactly when to fold.

It's not until we lose everything that we're free to do anything.

The most we can do with unwanted events, mistakes or not, is to learn from them and live life the best we can.

If you change your perspective, you are guaranteed to change your life.

It's the sobering moments of realization that give us the most insight into who we truly are.

7. They that say, do not know, they that know do not say.
Edited on Tue Aug-17-04 08:19 AM by moof
Never realized how depressing that phrase was till moof was cursed with knowing all that was worth knowing because

"worst than having questions is getting the answers"

because in todays world

" the ability to be content is inversely dependent on your lack of knowledge "

making this adage make even more sense

" Don't teach until asked "

Edit to fix a typo although it really makes no difference.

11. Live life to the fullest
you never know when it will be over!

Never let an opportunity to show your love be wasted.

The Divine can never be defined by us. People who have all the answers about who God is and what God wants us to do are either ignorant, arrogant, or evil (or all of the above).
