Come on - fess up - what's stashed away in your collection of music that you bought and now wonder what the heck you were thinking.

I'll start:

  1. Vanilla ICe - Cool as Ice (I have it on cassette)
  2. M.C.Hammer - Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em (Pathetic aren't i?)
  3. Molly Hatchet - Flirting with Disaster
  4. Kid Rock - Devil without a Cause (I never knew he'd be such a repuke tool)
  5. ZZTop - Afterburner. Eliminator was pretty decent twist on ZZTop music but Afterburner just plain SUCKED

1. You should be ashamed of the Kid Rock CD more for the music
It's worse than the M.C. Hammer, and that says a lot.

2. "Ace of Base"...a modern day ABBA.
But since I have ABBA in my collection (ABBA's Greatest Hits I and II) , what exactly was the point of getting Ace of Base? :-)

3. the collection of shame?
The Cure - whatever the latest one is
Eric Clapton - Behind The Sun
Springsteen - Bored in the USA
Pink Floyd - Division Bell
Waterboys - A Rock In The Weary Land

Where bands crossed too far into the land of polish for me. Might be fine albums, might be decent songs, but for me the bands lost their core sound.

5. The 80's were good to me...
...as they were to any kid who was skinny, nearsighted, good at math, and played synthesizer. Maybe I was just wrapped up it in a bit too much when I bought these:

Toni Basil - Word of Mouth (has "Mickey")
The Dead Milkmen - Beezlebubba
Men Without Hats - Rhythm of Youth (has "The Safety Dance")
The B52's - Mesopotamia
Rush - Moving Pictures

The only two songs I remember from these albums (yes, vinyl) are the ones I noted. Yeccchhh!!!

6. you know lemonwurst, I like you... you're not like the other kids here
in the trailer park...

Beelzebubba is the last good Dead Milkmen album. I've had it since debut and STILL listen to every couple of weeks.
