Interesting phone conversation today...
I had to call Verizon to set up phone service in our Democratic Central Committee's headquarters building.

This is the first time we have ever had a headquarters! Repukes outnumber us in this county, but we are growing, and getting more members all the time.

Anyway, the lady I called set up everything, and then asked me questions. She asked me if I thought Kerry would win. I said yes, although it would not be as close as the media is telling us, it will not be a landslide either. But I think he will have a clear, undisputed win.

Then she told me about her ABB brother's yard sign. She says he is a coon hunter. He has a sign with a big picture of a coon hound peeing on a bush. The caption says, "This is my vote for Bush."

She says she is not voting for Bush* because she is afraid he will send her children to war.

The things you learn, setting up phone service. Yay!
