Anyone in here following USA Ladies softball?
If not, you should. These ladies are GOOD. They have won 73 in a row, including a game yesterday in which they didn't even get a hit until the eighth inning. The Japanese ladies were very good, but, on this day, not good enough. I am an avid baseball fan and real softball is every bit as exciting, in its own way, The USA may face some stiff competition from the Chinese team as well as the Australian team. And don't count out the Japanese ladies just yet either. If you enjoy baseball or softball, then try and catch Team USA. They are the best in the world.

2. I love softball and I watched the USA team beat China
I was pitching coach for fastpitch softball for many years. My daughter received a full scholarship to college for her softball skills.

5. She attended Paducah Community College in Paducah KY
She had offers at several Universities but turned them down since she choose to get married and had a baby her 1st yr of college. So she decided to stay close to home. (I could have choked her for not waiting to get married and having babies until she finished her education, but our children don't always listen to us) But I'm really proud of my daughter and her accomplishments and I totally adore my granddaughter.

4. The only game I've seen in full is vs. Australia on Sunday.
The game schedule is just horrible!

My daughter and I watched the game vs. China from 2:30am-3:30am and then just couldn't stay awake any longer.

At least tommorrow's game vs. Canada is on at a reasonable hour.
