Any DU male over six feet tall, late 20s, good looking, and can act?
August 17, 2004 -- IT'S a bird, it's a plane, it's ... you? Casting agents for the long-suffering "Superman" movie have turned to Craigslist.org to find a leading man - now that every A, B and C-minus Hollywood star has passed on the part.
"Late 20s, tall (must be at least 6 feet), handsome, chiseled, good looks, athletic, strong character, all-American, confident yet awkward," reads the casting call posted on the Web bulletin board in Seattle earlier this month.

"We have to find someone over 6 feet tall, with good looks, who can act. It's a little on the difficult side," says Seattle casting agent Patty Kalles, who held the open call. She told The Post there would also be auditions in New York, Chicago, Vancouver, Dallas and Los Angeles.

"Last week was pretty pathetic. I was like, God, is that all there is? I mean, they were nice on the eyes, but ..."

Oh, wait...I'm 5'8", 36 years old, not particularly attractive and I can't act.

2. How about fat, bald, 40 plus guys?
And I can't act either. Sonofabitch! Maybe I should've been a repub! No, then I'd have to drool and say "duh, which way did he go?" a lot.

4. I don't like remakes, but I will admit they are right in this:
"Now they want to find an unknown and surround him with stars."

They'd better take their time though. We don't need another Hayden Christensen. :puke:

14. I can act - I'm a professor!
and, let's see -
tad under 6ft, but that's okay, right?
Good looking, especially with the distinguished gray at the temples (and a few other places) and gray beard. And you can't see the bald spot from the front.
Athletic - oh, definitely. I hike, swim, bike, & have studied martial arts for 30 years.
- so far, so good -
Strong character. Damn straight!
All-merikan. Hmmm. with Korean wife, but that's cool, right?
Confident. Yup. Like I said, professor. Job reuirement.
Can fake awkward.
Late 20's. uh-oh. Well, late something - just not 20's.
Here I am!!!
