Can't get my TV to work?
I had an old TV and a neighbor was moving back to Switzerland so I bought her 19" TV/VCR combo. I can't get my UHF cannels to come in.All I get is a blue screen ( I don't have cable). When we connewcted it I thought that it connected both VHF & UHF ??

1. sounds like the cable/tv setting
maybe a digital switch, or even a switch on the back of the tv.

4. Change the setting from "Cable" to "Antenna" or "TV".

8. VHS or VHF?
VHS is the video recorder..VHF is airwaves...you need a circular UHF antenna that attaches to the back of the TV to get UHF channels..they are carried on a different frequency.

5. I'm going to give you Microsoft-style advice,
in other words, advice which doesn't address the problem.

First, make sure the TV is plugged in.
Second, make sure the TV is set to "On."
Third, make sure you are not looking at the back of the TV rather than the front.

Does this solve your problem? If so, click Yes. :)
