As much as I dislike Sean Insannity, I can agree with him on
one issue. He said that he thinks that Scott Peterson killed his wife and I cannot disagree with that.

21. Joe Scarborough, and the intern was Lori Klausutis
http://www.americanpolitics.com/20010808Klausutis.html

"FORT WALTON BEACH, FL. - Lori Klausutis, a 28-year-old office worker for Rep. Joe Scarborough (R-Fl), was found dead in the congressman's district office. Police said preliminary findings from the medical examiner's office showed no foul play or any outward indication of suicide."

The Strange Tale of Joe Scarborough

When dealing with potentially scandalous stories concerning respected public figures, we at the Global Eye eschew lurid speculation in the Larry King-Fox News-Wall Street Journal manner. There, you will find daily doses of sex-crazed conjecture and feverish fantasy; here, we confine ourselves to the dry recitation of fact.

Thus when we read that a young woman found dead in a powerful congressman's office was actually killed by a blow to the head - contrary to earlier official statements that said her body bore no marks whatsoever - and that the medical examiner in charge of the case had previously had his license revoked for reporting false information, we do not leap to the nearest cable news outlet to spin wild conspiracy theories about lust and murder. We simply note the results of our research for whatever passing interest they may have for the reader.

The facts, then. On July 21, 2001, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, the body of Lori Klausutis, 28, was found in the office of U.S. Representative Joe Scarborough, 38, for whom Klausutis worked as an aide. Police on the scene said there were no indications of forced entry or physical struggle and "no signs of trauma to the body." The official medical examiner, Dr. Michael Berkland, then conducted an extensive autopsy - more than 80 hours - before announcing his findings last week.

Berkland said Klausutis died from a blow to the head, probably caused when she fainted and fell to the floor after an attack of a previously undiagnosed "valvular condition of the heart." Klausutis, an avid runner and member of the Northwest Florida Track Club, had never evinced heart problems before - but such things happen, Berkland said. He also admitted that authorities had previously lied about her fatal wound in order to forestall media inquiries into the case. "The last thing we wanted was 40 questions about a head injury," he told the Northwest Florida Daily News. Berkland moved to Florida after his medical license was revoked in Missouri following a 1998 case in which he was found to have falsified information in an autopsy report, American Political Journal reported.

I stand corrected!

Thanks all!

I forgot that Hannity is the coward hawk that found ways out of serving in the military...maybe because Colmbes rarely challenges that windbag.

In any case Thanks for the correction!!!!...:D

4. yea but when you turn a court room into a circus and "leak" every
bit of evidence against the defendant and clamp a gag order on the
clients lawyers I'd say you don't really care about justice only your
own popularity.

6. im kinda sick of the whole peterson trial.
it is local news at best, and is deserving of nothing more. same thing with the celebrity trials, sure, they may be national starts, so i dont mind hearing about it once, but we dont need a nightly 'trial hour' on cnn or whatever where they cover all the big trials. there are certianally more news-worthy things.

im also kinda concearned how fast the media convicts whoever they focus on. im not saying scott did or didnt do it. im just saying if he cant get a fair trial we are no better than any country with 'guilty until proven innocent' or a no trial polocy.

9. No kidding. If it wasn't a white couple and they lived in the inner city
how much do you think we'd hear about it? This happens every day. It's hardly national news.

The legal issues surrounding the "Rape Shield" law are interesting independant of the person on trial.

What is that quote from "Training Day?"

There is what you know and what you can prove. Or something close.

10. I think Hannity wants TWO guilty verdicts because then ......
....Abortion of a fetus will be legally defined as a murder.
Especially if you give your fetus a cute lovable name, like "Conner"

13. If that fetus was 16 weeks gestation, I'd agree. But if that fetus was
the age approximately of my son at birth (which it was) I'd disagree. James was James from 26 weeks (viablity outside the womb factored in) on.

22. I can respect your view.
Can't remember how far along "Conner" was, but I still think that's the crux of the Peterson case.

It will open a new can of worms in that every unfortunate miscarriage can be investigated as a potential murder case.

15. I have no idea what to make of that case
I was originally convinced that he did it (I mean when she was first missing)

Now, I don't know if he did it, or not.

The only reason I can't decide, is because he was he was smart enough to hide all DNA evidence (which is almost impossible to do these days)
but then he was dumb enough to drop the body where his alibi was?
(which doesn't sound like very good planning)

I tend to think however that he did kill her.

Whatever the case the guy sounds like a total moron on those tapes with Amber Frye.

I don't think I have ever heard more whiny inane conversations!
