THANK YOU DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND!!! Y'all are the greatest, (and I'm not even southern). I will be depending on you to keep me sane until November 2. This board is practical, as exemplified by vetwife's great virtual protest of CNN yesterday, funny , as exemplified by almost everyone, and full of well informed people. If we don't agree with each other about everything, that's not all bad, is it? Wouldn't wanna be boring like the freepers. Thanks, everybody!:party: :toast:

I was lurker here for a while, and used to be intimidated by the posts I read. I felt that everyone was better informed than me. Also, I don't like conflict, so I shy away from expressing my opinion sometimes. However, I finally realized that this year is too important to sit back and view as a spectator sport. I plan to be around for a while.

7. Yes, the smartasses can be intimidating.

However, they usually have the same access to information that the rest of us do. Incidentally, the ones who do have access to exclusive information don't post to intimidate but to inform.
