Poll question: Desktop or Laptop: What are you using right now?
I'll put in an "other" option just for the hell of it.

2. Desk top
I can't get the damned things to talk to each other. Got the DT to use Airport for internet, but can't get the LP and DT to network over Airport. Very frustrating.

5. It took a while to figure out, but you have to open file sharing on both
machines and access one computer's address via your web browser. The "home" of the other computer then appears as a globe icon on your desktop. If you want to move a file or folder from one machine to another, you move it to or from a "home" folder.

3. Believe it or not, both right now.
Streaming AAR on the Mac G4 PowerBook (and posting this on it), mixing digital audio on the Dual G4 PowerMac a couiple of feet away.

Checking in on DU from that every few minutes.

Yeah. I'm a power-user. :)

6. I used my desktop iMac almost exclusively until the hard disk crashed
after four years of constant, faithful service. While it was in the shop, I started using my clamshell iBook for more and more things (Fortunately, I had backed up everything from the desktop machine before moving from Oregon to Minnesota). Now I use the desktop almost exclusively for printing or for a couple of programs that I never bothered to install on the laptop.

When I upgrade, I plan to get a 15"-17" PowerBook for everyday use, moving it from home to coffeeshop as desired, and a 12" iBook for travel.
