3. WOW! a good friend of mine has the same thing
it sounds like at least. She also thinks its gall bladder and can't get in to see anyone. I told her to go to the ER too but...

Unless the pain was radiating around to her back, it sounds more like a bowel obstruction than Gall bladder. The bad thing is that bowel obstructions can be from some serious reasons. I hope she is at the hospital and that is why she has not checked back in.
