OK, OK... I know, it's not the ONLY DU fantasy football league, I mean, there's like 4 or 5 leagues at DU. But this one is the REALLY GOOD one. All the other ones are really lame. They're probably not even worth playing in. Here's why:

Also, I've been told by reliable sources that the other DU leagues are actually run by Freepers in disguise. No, no... wait... or was it Candy Crowley in disguise? Um... I don't remember. Either way, I can't divulge my sources, so you'll just have to take my word for it. It's kinda like a Bob Novak thing. I'm sure you'll understand.
The only prerequistes to join are a love of NFL football; a commitment to play the full season, win-or-lose; and some reasonable DU credentials (i.e., if you have only 6 posts to your name, I'd be reluctant to let you in). This spot is first come, first served.
So, if you want some fantasy sports action with some cool DUers (by the way: we have incontrovertible proof that the commissioners of the other DU leagues eat their own young- they're evildoers), be the first to reply to this message.
The live online draft is scheduled at Yahoo for Tuesday, August 24th at 8:30pm ET. The league is free to join- no prize money involved. The scoring and rules are pretty standard fare- I'll be happy to give more details.
