9. TRS-1000 ?? - how quickly we forget the TRS80 Mod 1, 2, 3. 4, 6 - sigh...
:-)

And Electric Pencil - a word processor with word wrap that fit in 2k, with 2 k for the 2 pages you were working on being kept in memory, with your tape recorder tape as your removeable mass media, since you only had a keyboard (the CPU amd RAM memory were in the Keyboard) plus a CRT. The "business" TRS 2 had 8 inch floppies the next year married to a 68000 chip, abd a $9000 12 inch platter hard drive that held about 4 meg.- followed by the TRS -80 Model 3 that had a real 5.25 floppy!

I think I still have clothes from that era 27 years ago!

:-)

7. I have a real job, but there's no dress code
Software developer.

This time of year I usually wear shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt to the office.

14. Same here..alhtough...
at one point one of my supervisors, while I was still under my 3 month probation called me into her office and told me that I needed to either where slacks or jeans, no shorts. I said fine, but I had been wearing shorts for 2 weeks and just thought it was ok. Then my immediate supervisor caught wind of this and laughed and told me there's no dress code, and she hated the fact she was being micromanaged.
To make a long story short, I complied until after my 3 months and have reverted back to shorts...everyone else wears them, and it seems why shouldn't I.
I comply slightly only to flaunt authority later!

16. Construction sites and no pants don't go well together.
Doing an Acetylene burn without pants could be extremely dangerous.
