Does anyone work for PBS? Can a donor let them know where you want your pledge dollars to go?

PBS is a pretty good resource, for the most part. "Now with Bill Moyers" is a terrific show.

Be polite. The person on the phone is a volunteer. But if enough of us do it, PBS will get the message and hopefully drop wingnut shows that they think they're running in the name of "balance."

where you live, give money instead to your local community radio station. There is a difference between public and community radio stations. Both are non-commerical but one is often attached to a university or funded by a foundation (public). The other (community) is truly independent and could use your help.
