All roads lead to Walmart
Last year my daughter was in the garden section of Walmart and spotted a mother cat with kittens. She asked one of the clerks about her. The clerk told her the mother had the kittens in a storm drain and a few days later it rained so bad she brought them to the garden section. My daughter, who is cat crazy, had a fit over the cute kittens and took one home with her. The clerk said they never have trouble finding homes for the kittens but the mama cat will not leave. One clerk got all scratched up when he tried to pick her up. Someone did get her into a cage to take her to an animal shelter about 10 miles away. The shelter keeps the cats until homes are found. She disappeared from the shelter and about two weeks later she showed up again at Walmart. She had found her way back. Since then she has had more kittens, and again, my daughter took another one.
They are really beautiful. Mama cat has become a fixture there and the clerks have fashioned a house for her. At last, something good from Walmart. My daughter, Julie, helps the clerks furnishing food for mama.

There is so much bad news lately I thought I would pass on some good news.

2. I hope the corporation doesn't find out.
Sounds like there is some liability exposure if she were to scratch up a customer, especially since Wal-Mart employees have cared for her.

3. They should get her fixed.
I like cats but her days of having litters should end. If they could capture her to take to the shelter they could do it again to take to a vet.
BTW- my local walmart has a cat in the garden section- Tullahoma Tennessee. (that wouldn't be the same cat would it?)
