Porn Star Tells Military, "Bullits, not Boobs"
LOS ANGELES - A group supporting natural breasts staged a small street protest in Hollywood  Wednesday against a U.S. military policy offering free breast implants to female soldiers.

I didn't know that our taxes pay for this. What's a self-respecting Freeper to think?

2. Technically...
anything our government does is paid for using tax dollars. So yes, this program would ultimately be paid for by the tax payers of america. My question is this: how the hell does a surgeon get "experience" fixing battle wounds by doing free boob jobs. Shouldn't they be interning or going to school or something like every other Dr?

3. I didn't think of that.
These guys are probably using their service to write off their college loans and when they are done they can get that lucrative private practice on Rodeo Drive.

4. other types of plastic surgery
are also offered for free to the military personnel. Frankly, I don't have a problem with that. If an IED goes off and disfigures a soldier, tearing away part of the face or a breast, or what have you, then I want to know that the military has doctors who have enough practice in plastic surgery that they can do a successful reconstruction. I think that the military doctors should be able to offer any medical service to our folks in uniform that they would be able to get privately at home. Yes, that includes reproductive -related services as well as plastic surgery, trauma surgery, rehab, etc.

5. it's not just free to female soldiers
it's free to wives of soldiers, too. Rhinoplasty and liposuction are also free. I find this sick, sick, sick considering the things that are NOT covered because they are considered "cosmetic". I, the wife of a soldier, had a broken tooth and they would not pay to fix it because it was COSMETIC. And fake boobs aren't?
